Note to All Families on Our Waiting Lists
Because 1) we do not re-home our dogs when they retire, 2) our breeding dogs have always been long-lived, and 3) we are not a kennel, we will be downsizing our breeding program as our dogs retire. Our dogs who have retired still live with us, so we do not have the space to continue to add more breeding dogs (since our dogs live in our home). We still have several dogs who will be breeding for the next few years, but if you are wanting to get a puppy, we would recommend sooner rather than later. We will not be giving waiting list refunds to people who have been offered a puppy, but have chosen to wait, so if you miss your opportunity to get a puppy due to timing issues, your waiting list fee will be forfeited. Our predicted retirement schedule is as follows:
Peaches (Great Bernedoodles (Standard and Miniature))
Retiring 2025
If you would like a Standard F1 Great Bernedoodle, it will have to be from Peaches' next (final) litter.
Ginger (all F1b Generations)
Retiring 2027
Ginger just aged into the breeding program in 2023, but we do know that she will be retiring in 2027. That means she will likely have 1-3 litters of Miniature F1b puppies, 1-2 litters of Standard F1b puppies, and possibly 1 litter of Reverse F1b puppies).
Bess (Tiny Bernedoodles)
Retiring 2028 at the latest
Bess will probably only have 3-4 litters from the time she starts breeding (2024) until she retires (2028). Therefore, if you would like a Tiny Bernedoodle, we recommend getting one sooner than later.
Pearl (F1 generation, or Bernese Mountain Dogs)
Retiring 2028 at the latest
Any litters are planned to be F1 (Standard or Miniature), with the possible exception of 1 litter of purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs, if she passes all exams to be part of the breeding program, and 1 litter of Reverse F1b Standards if we can find the right Bernedoodle stud dog to use for her.
Peaches (Great Bernedoodles (Standard and Miniature))
Retiring 2025

*All breed percentages are approximations based on the parents' breed/mix, unless they are 50/50 crosses. We cannot be certain which genes any dog with more than one breed will pass on.
