We have puppies in many different states, and in one case, outside of the United States. We do not, however, ship our puppies. We do realize that many breeders may be willing to ship, but we are not. Please do not try to change our minds. We like to see the new families meet their puppies, and make sure that everyone is happy before we go our separate ways. We also do not like the idea of the puppy traveling by itself, and we will not allow the puppy to travel under the airplane with the luggage, which is where they put the puppies who are shipped. This area is not pressurized or climate controlled, and we definitely do not spend eight to twelve weeks pouring into these puppies just to send them off unsupervised.
Therefore, we have a couple of options for bringing home your new baby.
In some cases, we are willing to drive a long way to either meet you in your home for delivery, or meet you part of the way. We have driven as far as 12 hours, one way. Of course, there is a charge for this service, and it is not always available. The sooner you contact us to request delivery, the more likely we are to be able to work it out.
In many cases, you can fly into the Indianapolis airport, and fly home with your puppy. At the age when they are allowed to fly, Bernedoodles are generally still small enough to ride in the cabin with you, unless you are getting one of the largest generations that we offer. If you choose this option, we can meet you at the Indianapolis airport for no charge. However, all of the other travel expenses and responsibilities will be need to be taken care of by you (this includes, but is not limited to hotel costs, airfare, a travel crate, etc). Check with the airline to see if you need a health certificate in order for you puppy to fly. If you do, let us know, and we can get it taken care of. Generally, there is a $35 fee for a Health Certificate from our vet. It will be up to you to find out all of the flight rules and regulations before trying to travel with your puppy. We are not responsible if for some reason the airline will not let you fly with your puppy---you must work it out with them ahead of time.
Or, of course, you are always welcome to come and pick your puppy up in our home, if you are able. If you are not able to pick up your puppy in our home, the sooner you let us know that you would like delivery, the more likely we will be able to accommodate you. So please, let us know! :)
