Different Generations of Bernedoodles Bred at Honey Creek

Over the years we have started breeding different generations of Bernedoodles, including the Standard F1 Bernedoodle, the Standard F1b Bernedoodle, the Miniature F1 Bernedoodle, the Miniature F1b Bernedoodle, and the Petite F1b Bernedoodle.  Each cross has its own attributes that are important to the families who choose that particular generation.  Please read through the descriptions to see which one might be the best fit for your family!

Standard F1 Bernedoodle

Breed Composition:
50% Bernese Mountain Dog, 50% Standard Poodle
Coat Colors:
varies, but always with white blaze, muzzle, neck, chest, tummies, feet and tail tips, regardless of body color.
Coat Texture/Shedding:
wavy to loose curls, low-shedding.  Good for families with mild- to moderate- alalergies.
Approximate Adult Size:
60-90 pounds

Standard F1b Bernedoodle

chocolate and white parti, standard f1b

Breed Composition:
~25% Bernese Mountain Dog
~75% Standard Poodle
Coat Colors:
varies, but always with white blaze, muzzle, neck, chest, tummies, feet and tail tips, regardless of body color.  Can come in tuxedo or parti.
Coat Texture/Shedding:
very low, virtually non-existent.  Should be fine for people with moderate to severe allergies.
Approximate Adult Size:
45-80 pounds

Miniature F1 Bernedoodle

Breed Composition:
50% Bernese Mountain Dog
50% Miniature Poodle
Coat Colors:  
varies, but always with white blaze, muzzle, neck, tummy, feet and tail tip.  Color varies depending on the stud dog we use.
Coat Texture:
wavy to loose curls
Shedding:
low-shedding.  Fine for people with mild to moderate allergies.
Approximate Adult Size:  
25-45 pounds

~25% Bernese Mountain Dog
~25% Standard Poodle
50% Miniature Poodle
Coat Colors:
traditional tri color, red merle, blue merle tri color, sable and white, traditional tri color, etc.
Shedding: 
very low, virtually non-existent.  Should be fine for people with moderate to severe allergies.

25-45 pounds
