That's kind of how the world works, really. As a Christian, I have to learn to let who the world thinks I am, roll off my back, and just keep being who I am. People think lots of bad things about Christians---probably because a lot of people who call themselves Christians do a lot of bad things. But really, that's like me yelling "Bang, bang, I'm a gun!" and people hating guns because of it. I'm not a gun. I'm not even acting like a gun. I'm just making a lot of noise, getting a lot of attention, and being obnoxious. And that doesn't really have anything to do with real guns. But I digress...
I fell in love with a boy who pronounced my name right the first time. ("Did he just get that right? I will love him forever!"). We got married when I was 20 and he was 19. That might be a bit young for some people (they weren't quiet about their opinion), but fortunately, we're not those people. We've been married for almost 11 years now, and I'm not sure how we could be any happier. And on the day that we were married, our pastor asked, "And do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He's smarter than the smart phone, the bank, and the doctor's office. He didn't even try to pronounce it. :o)
